Research at CEVI

CEVI carries out research and teaching on the ethics of globalisation and on ethics under the conditions of globalisation.

While we are an academic stakeholder, CEVI maintains good and collaborative relations with the civil and the professional community.

We specialize in researching current sense-making of globalisation phenomena, in particular the 'language of ethics' and its 'existentials' (Edel).

This pragmatic perspective allows us to find a common ground for dispersed research questions, namely the analysis of a 'general semantic' of the world today and the formulation of contextualised normative positions within specific fields.

CEVIs research streams are:

- Moral Epistemology and the Idea of Moral Science

- Migration Issues

- Social Responsibilities of Organizations

- Sexualities
